Tagon-ons in USA Foundation Inc, organized a Medical Mission in the past to the low-income communities. This organization strongly believes that healthcare is a basic human right; therefore, medical missions would be a helping hand in attaining that. A number of doctors and social workers who have their own specializations volunteered to make this mission possible. Through the help of the Board members, President, and other founders, basic medical materials and equipment were secured. The volunteers had been a great help in achieving a peaceful and cooperative crowd; Other members of the organization also helped prepare every single thing that was needed.

The pediatricians, with the other volunteers, took care of the children lined up, checking their pulse and heart rates. Cardiologists, pulmonologists, etc., can also be found in the temporary clinic examining and inspecting people. As the mission starts, a long queue of people can be seen at the location, patiently waiting for help to arrive. Many individuals let out a contented sigh as they were finally given enlightenment about their conditions. Medicines can be found and given at the pharmacy and resting area; Medicines for colds, coughs, and sore throats were given to the children; specific medications were also given to individuals in particular situations.

Tagon-ons Foundation are already looking forward to the next one. What are you waiting for? Make an impact in the lives of people who are in need and struggling by volunteering and contributing. Altogether, let us be the light that’ll deliver health care to underserved communities; Be counted to make a difference.
